Explaining My Brand Process

Your brand tells the story of your business, and it is the connection between you and your audience. Each step of this process is intentional and communicates your values, business model, and identity. When working with me, developing your brand might look something like this:

  1. Brief + Research: You will provide me with details about your vision, mission and goals. From there, I will spend time studying your brief, and doing further research to see what competitors in the industry are doing, and what your audience desires to see from you.

  2. Strategy + Communication: Once I wrap up the research phase, and your company’s mission and values are established, we will focus on the tone of voice for your brand, which is your core messaging strategy to your target audience.

  3. Design (My Favorite Part): Based on the research and strategy, I will start to design your brand’s guidelines and visual identity. This will include logo best practices and placement, color palette, fonts/typeface, desired imagery, tone of voice, print requirements, etc. This visual guide will become the groundwork in how you communicate with your audience.

  4. Execution: This is the moment when you get to share your awesome business and visuals with everyone. In preparation for this day, many things can be contributed to the reveal of your brand: website, business cards, social media posts, direct mail, and so on. The launch method will depend on your audience, and what will best appeal to them.

  5. Timeline + Pricing: Branding projects take time, and some people are at different stages of their business journey. Therefore, a timeline and price model is granted on a case-by-case basis.
