Space Cats is a series of emote illustrations that I worked on as a passion project. One of my goals this year (2023) is to spend each month working with different illustration styles, developing some typography, and challenging new design concepts and ideas that can be applied to my professional development. All of the Space Cats elements were sketched in Procreate during the ideation process, and then refined in Adobe Illustrator. The inspiration for this artwork came from the show Adventure Time (one of my favorite cartoons), and the video game Cuphead, which I’ve been working on beating since Christmas.
